Job summary

Temple Meadow Primary School invites a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to join our caring team. You will open the site at 6:00am, support health and safety, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for children, families and staff.

Working with the Site Manager, you will coordinate resources, supervise the cleaning team, and help maintain high standards of presentation and safety across the school day. This permanent role is 15 hours per week, starting January 2027, Band C SCP 5-8, pro rata.

Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the school site.
• Completing daily health and safety and site compliance checks.
• Supporting with the organisation and distribution of resources to classrooms.
• Site tasks under the direction of the Site Manager.
• Acting as a point of site contact for staff and visitors.
• Providing support and supervision to our cleaning team.
• Maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of the school environment.
• Undertaking morning gate duties and creating a welcoming start to the day.
