Job summary

Five Education Recruitment Limited is seeking a proactive Site Manager to maintain a safe, welcoming school environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The role involves hands-on site maintenance, safety checks, and coordination with the wider site team.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (with Friday to 3:30pm) during term time, and must have strong IT skills, excellent communication, and a proactive, independent working style. DBS checks are supported by the employer.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a school or similar environment is preferred.
• Ability to use IT systems and maintain compliance records.
• Excellent communication with staff, pupils, contractors and visitors.
• Organised, dependable and able to manage workload.
• Proactive, self-starting with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out regular site maintenance and safety checks.
• Undertaking ad hoc cleaning duties as required.
• Managing general grounds maintenance to keep the site safe and presentable.
• Working closely with the Site Operations Manager on planned and reactive tasks.
• Liaising with and meeting contractors on site.
• Updating compliance records and PPM tasks using iAM Compliant.
• Raising requisitions and supporting site administration processes.
• Assisting in maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site.
