We have an opportunity for a Shift Manager at our Bedford Food Production site. You will be fully responsible for the day to day running of your shift, as well as identifying and leading operational improvement opportunities for the business.

You will run 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM or 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, with a rotating pattern. Join a team focused on food safety, quality and continuous improvement within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in manufacturing, ideally in food.
• Proven background leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Qualifications in hygiene and safety are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Run day-to-day shift operations on schedule while upholding safety, quality and customer service standards.
• Promote Continuous Improvement manufacturing practices within the team.
• Undertake loss investigations and analyse OEE/Waste data.
• Coach, develop and lead your team, supporting training and multi-skilling.
• Conduct shift meetings and secure team accountability for issues.
• Control and document waste levels and OEE measurements.
• Undertake Accident and Near Miss investigations.
