Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a friendly 2-form entry primary school near Denmark Hill. This part-time role is mornings only, 8:30–13:00, Monday to Friday, supporting a child with autism on a 1:1 basis.

You will help with classroom tasks, processing instructions and supporting social interactions, aiming to help the pupil regulate emotions and engage with peers. ASAP start for the rest of the academic year.

Qualifications

• Experience as a learning support assistant or psychology graduate with understanding of autism.
• Ability to support a child 1:1 and in small groups.

Responsibilities

• Support a child with autism on a 1:1 basis in mornings.
• Assist with classroom tasks and processing instructions.
• Support social interactions and emotion regulation among peers.
