Job summary

Chartwells in the UK is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a central role in preparing meals, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and supporting safe food handling across sites.

This position is 15 hours per week, contracted for 43.6 weeks per year, with shifts on mornings from Monday to Friday. We value reliability, teamwork, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality service to pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality foods for clients and customers.

• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and uphold the brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regs.
