Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis. The role is contracted to 12.5 hours per week across 42.6 weeks per year, with a strong focus on food quality, cleanliness and safety.

You will support the team to deliver nutritious meals and uphold Chartwells’ brand standards in educational environments. We value reliability, flexibility to work shifts and the ability to work well under pressure.

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas

• Assisting with the loading or unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
