Job summary

Catch 22 is seeking a Facilities Assistant in Leeds to maintain a busy school site. The role is part-time (06:45–10:45, Mon–Fri) with a potential path to permanent employment, and an hourly rate from £14.82.

You’ll manage building systems, safety compliance and work with staff and contractors to keep the site safe and well‑maintained. Prior experience in facilities or caretaking is preferred, with a hands-on approach to maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking, or a skilled trade (e.g. plumbing, electrical, joinery, construction).
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and site compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs, fault-finding and day-to-day maintenance across the site.
• Identify issues, arrange repairs and complete smaller works.
