Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a part-time Janitor/Cleaner for First Steps Community Nursery in Hamilton. The role runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 9am, totaling 15 hours per week. You will clean floors and surfaces, monitor standards, and support room setup for lets, with health and safety reporting responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial work is desirable.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and basic health and safety.
• Ability to monitor cleaning standards and report issues to management.

• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site responsible person for health and safety reporting.
