Job summary

Drivers Today is recruiting HGV Class 2 / Category C drivers for a busy pallet distribution operation based at Fradley Park, Lichfield. This is a great opportunity for regular Monday-to-Friday work with the same transport operation.

You’ll be delivering and collecting palletised goods to commercial customers, using modern Volvo and DAF vehicles on local and regional routes with professional customer interaction. Immediate starts available and potential for permanent positions.

Qualifications

• 6+ months HGV Class 2 experience
• Valid Category C/Class 2 licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Professional and customer-friendly attitude
• Good communication skills
• Reliable attendance and timekeeping

Responsibilities

• HGV Class 2 driving and palletised deliveries/collections
• Use modern Volvo and DAF vehicles
• Handle commercial and industrial deliveries
• Local and regional routes
• Check and secure loads correctly and complete delivery paperwork
• Provide professional interaction with customers
