Job summary

Pro-Drive in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a busy general haulage operation around Rugeley and Fradley Park. The role offers regular hours, ongoing work, and competitive pay with AM and PM starts.

You will be responsible for general haulage deliveries, multi-drop runs, vehicle checks, load security, paperwork, and adherence to drivers’ hours and tachograph rules. A strong knowledge of UK roads is essential.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 / Category C licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience.
• General haulage or distribution experience preferred.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries and collections.
• Multi-drop deliveries as routes allow.
• Drive Class 2 / Category C vehicles.
• Complete daily vehicle checks.
• Ensure load security and safe transport of goods.
• Prepare delivery paperwork and liaise with customers.
• Follow drivers’ hours and tachograph regulations.

Pay: £15.00 - £23.81 per hour

Shifts: AM & PM starts available

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy and well-established general haulage and distribution operation based around Rugeley and Fradley Park.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for regular work, competitive pay and flexible start times.

The Role

• General haulage deliveries and collections
• Multi-drop deliveries depending on the route
• Driving Class 2 / Category C vehicles
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Load security and safe transportation of goods
• Delivery paperwork and customer interaction
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations

What We're Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
