Drivers Today is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver for a busy pallet distribution site at Fradley Park, Lichfield. This is regular Monday-to-Friday night work with local depot-to-hub movements using curtain-sided trailers.

Ideal candidates have 12+ months Class 1 experience, CPC, tachograph knowledge, and a professional approach to safety. No nights out, long-term opportunity, weekly pay and steady shifts.

Formación

• Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Category C+E / Class 1 licence.
• Driver CPC fully up to date.
• Digital Tachograph Card (valid).
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Professional approach to vehicle and load safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and timekeeping.
• Ability to work regular night shifts.
• Experience with curtain-sided trailers and pallet networks is a plus.

Class 1 Nights – Regular Monday to Friday Work in Lichfield

Drivers Today are recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driverfor a busy pallet distribution operation based at Fradley Park, Lichfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 1 driver who wants consistent Monday-to-Friday night workwith a regular routine rather than constantly changing routes and start locations.

The work primarily involves moving palletised freightbetween a local depot and the main distribution hub in the Lichfield area, using HGV Class 1 curtain-sided vehicles.

Both locations are in the Lichfield area, so this isn't long-distance trunking or nights away from home.

What does the job involve?

You'll be responsible for safely and professionally moving palletised loads between the local operation and main hub.

Your duties will include:

• HGV Class 1 / Category C+E driving
• Monday-to-Friday night shifts
• Local movements between depot and hub
• Palletised freight
• Curtain-sided trailers
• Trailer collections and movements
• Vehicle and trailer checks
• Load security
• Accurate transport paperwork
• Working closely with the transport team
• No nights out

The operation handles palletised goods for a range of customers, so reliability and professionalism are important.

This is long-term work

We're not recruiting someone simply to cover a couple of shifts.
