Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a client based in Sherburn In Elmet. The role runs Monday to Friday with early start times (04:30/05:00) and offers on-going work with weekly pay. Possibility of permanent placement for the right candidate.

Driver will operate curtain side trailers, secure loads and perform standard vehicle checks while adhering to company policies and road regulations. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience.
• No major endorsement codes (CD/IN/TT/BA/DR etc).
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.
• Be honest and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Complete accurate vehicle checks.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Curtain side trailers and secure loads.
• Mixture of trunk runs, collections & shuttles.
• Abide by driving rules and regulations.
