Job summary

HG Recruitment is hiring for HGV Class 1 drivers in Sherburn in Elmet, offering afternoons and immediate starts. Join our established client and benefit from competitive pay and ongoing shifts.

Pay rates vary by day/night/weekend and include overtime after 45 hours. Expect estimated weekly pay around £1124 based on 55 hours. Registration and eligibility checks apply.

Qualifications

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 licence
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on licence
• Minimum 12 months experience
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and Working Time rules
• A reliable and professional approach

Responsibilities

• Store work with approx. 3/4 drops per shift and 12-hour shifts
• Afternoons shift 12:00–16:00
• Manual handling required; cage unloading; tail lift operation
• Minimum 8 hours paid per shift
