Qualifikationen

• Molecular laboratory experience essential.
• Experience of nucleic acid extraction and PCR setup.
• NGS library preparation experience (Illumina, Nanopore).
• Experience with sequencing platforms and Sanger sequencing.
• Experience in NHS, academia or industry laboratories.
• Previous participation in UKAS ISO:15189 laboratory accreditation.

Aufgaben

• Follow SOPs to extract nucleic acids, prepare libraries and load sequencing instruments.
• Maintain quality control steps (Qubit, Tapestation) and track results.
• Ensure timely results for patients within expected timeframes.
• Demonstrate accurate pipetting and organized data recording.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric diagnostic setting.
