Job summary

SGS Glasgow is seeking a Laboratory Stores Coordinator to manage stock, inventory and materials for laboratory operations. You will raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers and maintain accurate stock records to ensure smooth day-to-day lab functioning.

The role requires strong organisation, communication, and IT skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a regulated environment. This permanent, on-site position offers a supportive team and opportunities to develop procurement

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, stock control, warehouse, purchasing, procurement, or inventory management.
• Strong organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial.

Job Description

• Job Title: Laboratory Stores Person
• Job Type: Permanent
• Location: Glasgow
• Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Industry: Health & Nutrition, Life Science

As our Lab Stores Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting laboratory operations by ensuring materials, consumables, and equipment are available when needed. Working closely with laboratory teams and suppliers, you'll help keep the site organised, efficient, and compliant.
