Job summary

Adecco is recruiting a Quality Control Associate Scientist in Basingstoke to support microbiological testing and ensure products meet safety and quality standards. The role involves microbiological QC testing, media preparation, recording results in SAP Quality Management, equipment checks, and supporting investigations in a GMP environment.

A Microbiology degree or relevant lab experience is required, with an eye for detail and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree (Level 6 or equivalent) in Microbiology or a related science.
• Laboratory experience including pipetting, swabbing, streaking and plate pouring.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow testing procedures accurately.
• Experience in a QC or microbiology lab environment; SAP experience advantageous.
• Proactive team player with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
