Job summary

Singular: Building Brilliant Biotechs in Guildford invites an early-career molecular biologist to grow your assay development and NGS skills within a translational diagnostics environment.

You’ll design, optimise and validate DNA/RNA assays, including independent NGS library prep, PCR, qPCR and digital PCR, contributing to a platform that pulls imaging, proteomic and genomic data from a single sample.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology or related discipline.
• 1-2 years' experience in molecular assay development or diagnostics.
• Hands-on expertise in PCR, NGS and/or digital PCR.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimise and validate DNA/RNA molecular assays, including independent NGS library prep.
• Perform PCR, qPCR and digital PCR assays and analyse data.
