Singular: Building Brilliant Biotechs in Guildford is looking for a Scientist I in Molecular Assay Development. This role requires expertise in PCR, NGS, and digital PCR, where you'll design and validate molecular assays.

The position offers a hands-on laboratory experience within a company at the forefront of diagnostics and liquid biopsy technology. Ideal candidates will hold an MSc or PhD in Molecular Biology and have 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Competenze

• 1–2 years experience in molecular assay development or diagnostics.
• Hands-on expertise in PCR, NGS, and/or digital PCR.

Mansioni

• Execute molecular biology workflows including PCR, qPCR, dPCR, and NGS.
• Design and optimise molecular assays for sensitivity and reproducibility.
• Perform analytical validation (LoD, specificity, precision, linearity).
