Wernick Modular Hire in Cannock is seeking an meticulous Estimator with a deep understanding of building regulations in modular construction. You will price and present comprehensive quotation documents for rental opportunities, supporting the sales team and collaborating across production and site teams.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail and proven estimating or CAD experience within the modular building industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating or CAD design within modular/building industries.
• Strong understanding of building regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities for pricing and cost build-ups.
• Ability to prepare clear quotations and proposals reflecting client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review enquiries and tender documents to identify requirements and prepare sales proposals.
• Prepare accurate rental quotations from information, schedules and pricing assumptions.
• Compile quantities, schedules and cost build-ups for quotations.
• Obtain subcontractor quotations and select suitable options for estimates.
• Understand modular building tech, layout, site constraints and scope boundaries.
• Prepare clear sales proposals reflecting pricing assumptions and exclusions.
• Support Sales, factory production and site teams with quotation information.
• Read and understand tender documents and client information.
• Manage workload and meet quotation deadlines.
