Job summary

Experis is looking for a Modern Workplace Consultant to help clients unlock the value of Microsoft 365 across a portfolio of organisations. You will lead discovery sessions, configure SharePoint intranets, Teams and wider M365, and advise on what is possible, including integrations.

You will work with non-technical stakeholders, travel to client sites from Edinburgh when needed, and benefit from funded certifications and ongoing training as part of a supportive hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on M365 experience, especially SharePoint Online and Teams.
• Comfortable dealing with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to assess feasibility without building.
• Experience with intranets, Viva or employee engagement platforms.
• Willing to travel to client sites; hybrid role in Edinburgh.

Modern Workplace Consultant

Plenty of organisations buy Microsoft 365 and never get near the value they paid for. This role is about fixing that, across a portfolio of clients rather than one employer.

This role is focused on Microsoft 365 and digital workplace delivery, working with organisations across a range of sectors. Intranets people actually use, Teams and SharePoint that make sense, employee platforms that get adopted rather than ignored.

Day to day

• Running discovery sessions and workshops with clients
• Configuring and delivering SharePoint intranets, Teams and wider M365
• Advising on what is and is not possible, integrations included
• Working alongside client comms, HR, IT and security teams
• Supporting pre-sales with demos and scoping

What they are looking for

• Solid hands on M365, particularly SharePoint Online and Teams
• Confidence in a room with non technical stakeholders
• The judgement to assess whether something will work without needing to build it
• Any intranet, Viva or employee engagement platform experience
• Someone comfortable working with autonomy in a close knit teamScripting, Power Platform and API work are a bonus rather than the bar. Platform specifics are trained and certifications are funded.

• £50,000 to £60,000 DOE
