Job summary

Elvis Eckardt Recruitment is seeking a Systems Engineer specialising in MoD and Government systems in Redhill, Surrey. The role focuses on designing, configuring, testing and delivering secure systems for UK MoD projects, with nationality, residency and clearance prerequisites.

Initial 6 months onsite in Redhill, then up to 6 remote days monthly. You will work with secure environments and may travel to customer sites, depending on project needs and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous UK MoD/defence or secure government environment experience.
• Strong systems or communications engineering background.
• IP networks design and equipment specification experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure systems for MoD and Government projects.
• Deliver projects per specifications and liaise with Projects Office.
• Define IP structures and equipment lists for new projects.
• Provide technical guidance and maintain drawings/documentation.
• Test, verify, and troubleshoot equipment and software builds.
• Support customer meetings and site visits as needed.
