Job summary

Holt Engineering is recruiting a System Design Engineer for Redhill, Surrey. The role focuses on secure ICT, networking and government projects, with exposure to design, integration and documentation.

You will design and configure systems for MoD/government work, liaise with the Project Office, test solutions, deliver to specifications and provide on-site support and training where needed.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering, ICT, or equivalent.
• Broad ICT and satellite communications experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Cisco CCNA-level networking.
• Experience with Juniper and Fortinet technologies.
• Professional registration beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure systems for MoD and government projects.
• Coordinate with Project Office to deliver work packages.
• Test, evaluate and verify hardware and software solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and drawings.
• Visit customer sites for installation, testing and project delivery.
