We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and skilled Mobile Working Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Mountjoy Ltd is contracted to Various Contracts across the Southeast to carry out Maintenance and repairs to around 5,000+ buildings. Building types include:

We are seeking a Mobile Working Electrical Supervisor with a can-do attitude and flexible approach. It is a further requirement that all operatives must pass an Enhanced DBS check and SC Clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Electrical test and inspection.
2. Reactive repairs and fault finding.
3. Electrical installation to kitchens and bathrooms.
4. Electrical installation of commercial heating system.
5. Ensure all electrical work complies with the latest IEE Wiring Regulations and associated British Standards, completed to a high standard.
6. Ensure all electrical certification is completed as required at the end of each job and sent to the NICEIC electrical certification program for validation and submission to the contract administrators.
7. Ensure all electricians use safe isolation procedures, and that all equipment follows GS38 guidance for electrical test equipment and is maintained in excellent condition.
8. Diagnose and rectify faults within core field of expertise.
9. Ensure that the quality of work meets the highest possible standards.
10. Support all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service.
11. Respond swiftly to all emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
12. Keep the customer updated with progress and plans.
13. Undertake all work efficiently and cost-effectively, minimising non-productive time and reporting any difficulties to the Service Manager.
14. Apply Company Health & Safety rules in all activities, using risk assessments, method statements, and PPE as needed.
15. Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in a safe, clean, and workable condition.
16. Maintain accurate records of works undertaken with photographic evidence as necessary.
17. Ask your line manager for assistance when required.
18. Be willing to work within the Mountjoy group and assist other contracts as directed by the Contract Manager as needed.
19. Maintain your company vehicle in a clean and tidy condition and report any defects to the Contract Manager/Supervisor in a timely manner.
20. Be an inclusive part of the team and participate in an on-call rota (Out of Hours).

SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Be the technical expert in your field, providing efficient and effective solutions.
2. All aspects of domestic and commercial electrical works.
3. Have a practical approach to health and safety, ensuring that you and others are always safe.
4. Able to use the phone or PDA to communicate effectively, explaining yourself clearly and concisely.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

1. NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent (Essential).
2. C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting and Testing (Essential).
3. CSCS card would be an advantage.
4. Full current driving license.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

1. Over 3 years trade experience in the building maintenance industry.
2. Ideally 2 years supervisory experience of some degree.
