Job Description:

Equans is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 1) to join our team in the North of England. The Technician will cover areas including Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Hull, Rotherham, Carlisle, and Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary, company vehicle, and benefits.

What will you deliver?

• Represent EQUANS Water Compliance as a Water Treatment Technician, delivering all Water Treatment services across northern UK
• Perform Tier 1 services such as Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descales, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, Water Sampling
• Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems
• Maintain accurate site L8 logbooks when acting as the Primary Technician
• Complete work reports promptly via day works sheet or Planon

Who are we looking for?

• City and Guilds or NVQ qualification relevant to the Tier grading
• Knowledge of Water Supply Regulations, L8 ACOP, HSG, and relevant guidance
• Fault diagnosis and resolution skills
• Valid driving license

This role requires a DBS Enhanced check with Barred Lists, so the ability to pass is essential.
