Job summary

Gold Group is seeking a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 3) based in the South of England, covering Berkshire, Hampshire and Reading. The role centers on water hygiene and treatment services, including temperature monitoring, dosing, sampling and maintaining cooling systems in critical environments.

The ideal candidate will hold City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing/Heating/Chemistry, with at least 3 years' water hygiene/treatment experience, a valid driving licence, and DBS Enhanced

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in water hygiene/treatment.
• Legionella awareness training with knowledge of regulations (L8 ACOP, HSG274).
• Min. 3 years' experience in water hygiene/treatment.
• TMV servicing experience preferable.
• Water sampling experience and understanding of sample suites.
• Closed loop testing and dosing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor temperatures and inspect cooling and hot water systems.
• Dosing inhibitors/biocides into closed systems and sampling.
• Conduct TMV servicing and associated testing/analysis.
• Carry out cleaning/disinfection of water systems and assess results.
• Perform remedial plumbing works and pass regulatory checks.
