Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division in the Bridgwater cluster. You’ll work on pre-booked appointments across local towns, delivering planned servicing, diagnostics with mobile equipment, and in‑depth repairs away from the workshop.

The role offers a base salary of £40,170 with on‑target earnings up to £52,000, 40 hours a week, some Saturdays, and overtime options. Benefits include pension, life assurance, holiday entitlement (23–25 days), and access to RAC

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing.
• Diagnostics using mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs normally done in a workshop.
