Job summary

RAC is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for its SMR division. You’ll work on planned schedules delivering quality on-site servicing and diagnostics to members’ driveways and workplace car parks.

You’ll join the Leeds cluster covering areas like Leeds, Wakefield and surrounding towns, with a 40-hour week, confident about overtime and a comfortable progression path in a national motoring services provider.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and diagnostics using advanced mobile equipment.
• In-depth repairs you’d normally complete in a workshop.
• Provide member advice and recommendations based on inspection.
• Vehicle safety checks aligned to RAC standards.
