Job summary

The AA is seeking a mobile vehicle technician to service and repair customer vehicles at their homes or workplaces across the UK. You will diagnose faults, explain repairs, and work independently with the tools and support of one of the UK’s best-known motoring organisations.

This role offers a five-day week, Saturday work, guaranteed earnings, and a generous benefits package including a sign-on bonus and pension. A full UK driving licence and NVQ qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair required.
• Full UK Category B driving licence with no more than six points.
• Flexibility to work the advertised rota, including Saturdays.
• Professional, customer-focused approach required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs at customers’ homes or workplaces.
• Diagnose faults where appropriate.
• Explain repairs and technical information clearly to customers.
• Manage your day and scheduled jobs independently.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.
