Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vehicles at customer locations in Cheltenham and surrounding areas. You will work from a home-based setup, 40 hours per week across five days, including one in four Saturdays, with optional overtime." You will handle oil changes, diagnostics, and repairs, using modern tools and keeping thorough records.

A Level 2 (Level 3 preferred) qualification and a valid UK driving licence are required, with 2+

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair; Level 3 preferred.
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, car parks).
• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical issues.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Keep accurate records of work and parts used.
