Job summary

cinch is hiring a Mobile Repair Technician to join a national team, supporting customers with on-site servicing and repairs. The role focuses on Level 3 expertise, with tools and a work van provided, and involves face-to-face customer interactions across Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have prior vehicle technician experience, City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3, and a full UK driving licence (2+ years). Permanent, Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Mechanical Inspector.
• Qualification to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3.
• Full valid UK driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified).
• Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and undertake electrical diagnosis if needed.
• Carry out repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to original condition.
• Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is accurately completed and company procedures followed.
