Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join the Mobile Expert team in Derbyshire, delivering workshop‑quality servicing, maintenance and repair work at customers' homes and workplaces. Working from a fully equipped van, you’ll manage your day and build trusted customer relationships using your technical skills to keep the nation moving.

NVQ level 2/3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time‑served experience) and a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or level 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time-served experience).
• Proven experience in a vehicle servicing & maintenance role.
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Great communication skills and confidence dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

• Interim, Full and Major vehicle services.
• Battery and Dashcam fitting.
• Vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics.
• Tyre fitting, puncture repairs and wheel balancing.
• Air conditioning servicing and re-gassing.
