Job summary

The Recruitment Solution is seeking Vehicle Technicians to join a main dealer group in the Northampton area. This MOBILE role works on a night-shift pattern and is not a roadside breakdown position.

You will inspect, service, repair and test vehicles to the highest dealer and manufacturer standards at local premises, with a comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Service Technician experience; main dealership background preferred.
• Able to work night shifts.
• Full valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and service routines, repairs and testing.

Recognising the shift in customer expectations and the desire to minimise customer inconvenience, our client is looking for Mobile Service Technicians to work in the Northampton area. You will be working at local business premises and be responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs, and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards.

Requirements & Responsibilities

• An NVQ level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent,
• Service Technician experience and ideally, you'll also have some main dealership experience
• Able to work Night Shifts
• An MOT testing qualification is desirable, but this isn't essential.
• A full valid driving licence as a minimum
• What is vital is that you have the attention to detail to keep standards high.
