Job summary

The Recruitment Solution is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in the Glasgow area. The role covers inspection, routine servicing, repairs, and testing of vehicles to dealer and manufacturer standards, in a mobile capacity from a home base.

You will join a main dealer group with a competitive salary (£45k-£50k/year) plus benefits, including a performance bonus and generous holiday entitlement. Ongoing training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in vehicle servicing or equivalent is required or desirable.
• Experience as a Service Technician, preferably in a main dealer group.
• Able to work Night Shifts.
• MOT testing qualification is desirable but not essential.
• A full valid driving licence is a minimum requirement.
• Attention to detail to maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection and service routines, repairs, and testing of vehicles to dealer and manufacturer standards.
• Work in a mobile role, based from home, serving Glasgow area with night shifts.

You will be working at local business premises and be responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs, and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards.

So, what do we look for from you as a Mobile Service Technician?

• An NVQ level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
• Service Technician experience and ideally, you'll also have some main dealership experience
• Able to work Night Shifts
