Job summary

The Recruitment Solution is seeking Mobile Vehicle Technicians to cover Edinburgh and surrounding areas in a mobile role, Monday to Friday, from home base. Earn £40k-£45k per year plus benefits with a main dealer group and 33 days holiday.

You will inspect, service, repair and test vehicles to dealer standards, with ongoing training and a comprehensive benefits package including a pension, van, and upsell bonuses.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Service Technician experience; main dealer experience preferred.
• Full valid driving licence.
• MOT testing qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service routines, repairs and testing of vehicles to dealer standards.
• Work from a home base and mobile to customer sites across the Edinburgh area.

Recognising the shift in customer expectations and the desire to minimise customer inconvenience, our client is looking for Mobile Service Technicians to work in the Edinburgh area.

You will be working at local business premises and be responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs, and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner, in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards. This is a great opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills, with the backup and all the benefits of a main dealer group.

So, what do we look for from you as a Mobile Service Technician?

• An NVQ 3, City & Guilds or equivalent,
• Service Technician experience and ideally, you'll also have some main dealership experience
• An MOT testing qualification is desirable, but this isn't essential.
• A full valid driving licence as a minimum
