Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician for a leading UK dealer network in Newcastle. The role offers a competitive salary from £40,000 upwards, with an OTE around £44,000 and a 40-hour week with flexible options.

There are day or night shifts, 33 days holiday (incl. BH) with holiday purchase/sale, a pension and life assurance, and various staff perks including service discounts and a cycle-to-work scheme.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle servicing and repairs.
• MOT testing qualification is desirable.
• Experience as Mobile Service Vehicle Technician.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high standards of technical advice, service, and maintenance to customers.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and relevant legislation.
• Maintain comprehensive service records promptly.
• Carry out mobile vehicle repairs and servicing for various brands.
• Provide technical support and training to colleagues as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with health and safety standards.

Duties

• Deliver high standards of technical advice, service, and maintenance to all customers

• Maintain comprehensive records in a timely manner

• Carry out mobile vehicle repairs and servicing for various brands

• Support colleagues and management with technical support and training as required

Requirements

• Full valid driving licence
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in vehicle servicing and repairs
• Proven experience as a Mobile Service Vehicle Technician
• Ideally, MOT testing qualification and main dealership experience
• Demonstrates resilience, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to learning
• Strong customer service skills and understanding of client needs
• Commitment to delivering excellent service standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
