Job summary

Pybus Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Mechanic to cover Newcastle upon Tyne and surrounding areas. This expanding mobility service operates 24/7 and offers a route that keeps you visiting different sites rather than a fixed workshop.

You will inspect, service, and maintain supermarket delivery vans, provide technical advice, and ensure compliance with company and manufacturer protocols. The role includes a fully expensed van, a weekend on-call payment of £150, and a potential total earnings

Qualifications

• Fully qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
• Strong organisational skills to manage processes and paperwork.
• Ability to coach and develop colleagues and junior team members.
• Hold a valid full driving licence with fewer than 9 penalty points for six months.
• Proof of the Right to work in the UK.
• Performance Related Bonus.

Job Description

Job Title: Mobile Mechanic

Location: Covering Newcastle upon Tyne and Surrounding areas

Up to £44,000 (depending on experience) + fully expensed company van + time saved bonus OTE £50k - £54k

Role is Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week

There is 1 weekend in every 4 on call - there is a £150 payment for the weekend you are on call and overtime for any calls you have to attend

Your Role as Mobile Vehicle Technician / Mechanic:
