Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Maidstone and surrounding areas. You will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle faults, working independently and visiting customers at their location.

The role includes a company vehicle and comprehensive training, with a base salary of £40,178 and an OTE of up to £52,000 per annum. Starting from a designated parts supplier, your day finishes when you return home, meaning your commute is included as part of the working day.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults.
• Enjoys working independently and tackling a variety of technical challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Attend a wide range of vehicle faults and repairs at customer premises.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep customers informed.

Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent

Job description

We are currently working with a nationwide roadside assistance and vehicle repair provider who are looking to recruit Mobile Vehicle Technicians to join their growing team.

Location: Maidstone and Surrounding Areas

Salary: £40,178 basic salary, with OTE of up to £52,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a varied role outside of the traditional workshop environment. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you'll work independently, attending a wide range of vehicle faults and repairs while providing excellent customer service.

Your day will begin from your nearest designated parts supplier and finish when you return home, meaning your commute is included as part of your working day.

We are keen to speak with Vehicle Technicians who have strong mechanical knowledge and experience diagnosing and resolving vehicle faults. This role is ideal for a Vehicle Technician who enjoys working independently and tackling a variety of technical challenges. Due to the varied nature of the role, you'll encounter a wide range of technical issues, making problem-solving skills and adaptability key.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent as a minimum
• At least 3 years' post-qualification experience
• Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
• Diagnostic and electrical experience would be advantageous but is not essential
