Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to service customer sites across Kent, with a salary up to £42k, company van and overtime. The role includes a Learning & Development programme with Manufacturer Training, extra holiday, private healthcare and more.

You will diagnose and repair cars, vans and light commercial vehicles, complete compliance paperwork, and deliver first-class customer service while adhering to manufacturer procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Car/Van Technician or similar role.
• NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification or equivalent in LCV maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer site breakdowns across Kent and surrounding areas.
• Perform service, diagnostic and electrical maintenance repairs on cars, vans and LCVs.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and maintain high attention to detail.
• Complete all compliance paperwork accurately to company standards.
• Deliver first-class customer service to customers.

The Mobile Vehicle Mechanic Role:

• Attend customer site breakdowns throughout Kent and surrounding areas.
• Completion of service, diagnostic and electrical maintenance repairs to the highest possible standard on cars and vans / light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
• Adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and demonstrate high attention to detail at all time.
• You will be required to complete all compliance paperwork accurately and work to the company's standards.
• Deliver first‑class customer service to customers

To be successful as an Mobile Vehicle Mechanic:

You will have previous experience working as a Car Technician, Van Technician, Vehicle Technician, Mobile Vehicle Mechanic, Fleet Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Van Mechanic, Van Technician, Service Technician, Qualified Technician, Senior Technician, LCV Technician, LCV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer, Automotive Technician, Automotive Engineer, Workshop Technician or related role.

You will ideally hold an NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI Qualification or equivalent in LCV Vehicle repair and maintenance/vehicle maintenance/ electrical maintenance and repair or similar.

You must hold a full UK driving licence
