Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a well-established mobile servicing team covering Bridgwater and surrounding areas.

This full-time role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends. You will travel to customer sites to service, maintain, diagnose and repair light commercial vehicles with a pre-planned diary.

The company provides a van, PPE, tools, 23 days of leave rising to 25 with service, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience in diagnostic repairs and fault finding.
• Strong organisation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work alone.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving license.
• Candidates must be 24 or above for insurance purposes.
• Role subject to satisfactory Basic DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer site locations to carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs).
• Diagnose and repair faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high professional industry standard.
• Work in a safe, clean and responsible manner.

About the Company

The Company is an established independent company who specialise in mobile servicing and repairs on light commercial vehicles for the fleet industry. They are looking for an experienced vehicle technician / mechanic to join their team covering Bridgwater and surrounding areas. It's a Monday to Friday position with NO WEEKENDS, your working day starts and finishes at home - no commuting to company base. Each day you'll get a pre-planned diary of work and travel to customer site locations to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs (No breakdowns or roadside work). This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a change from the normal workshop environment.
