Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Chesterfield to diagnose faults, service vehicles, and carry out electrical diagnostics at customer sites. You will respond to breakdowns and restore vehicles to operating condition with high quality customer service.

Requires Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) and at least three years' experience, plus a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and restore vehicles to operating condition or arrange transport to workshop
• Perform vehicle servicing, general maintenance, and electrical diagnostics
• Deliver high-quality customer service, representing the brand professionally
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to health and safety standards

Salary: up to £40,000 basic per annum and overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours days, Saturday mornings on rota

• At least three years' experience, preferably mobile or workshop-based
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
