Job summary

The AA is hiring a Mobile Mechanic to deliver first-class service and repairs at customers' homes or workplaces across various locations in the UK.

You'll work a 40-hour week on a 5-day rota (Mon–Sat) with shifts from 8am to 8pm, including optional overtime or incentives. Company van, tools, and full training are provided to support your role.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, service and repair vehicles at customers' homes or workplaces.
• Explain diagnostics and repairs clearly to customers.

This is the job

As a Mobile Mechanic, you'll be the friendly face delivering first-class service and repair work at our customers' homes or workplaces.

You'll attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns, carrying out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, brake replacement and on-the-spot repairs, helping to keep our customers moving safely and confidently.

With full training and ongoing support, you'll have everything you need to succeed in a varied, independent and rewarding role.

What will I be doing?

What do I need?

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
