Job summary

The AA is hiring Mobile Mechanics to deliver first-class service and repair work at customers' homes or workplaces across a list of shifts from 8am to 8pm. You’ll diagnose, service and repair vehicles on-site, attend a mix of bookings and breakdowns, and enjoy a structured training program with clear career progression.

Expect guaranteed year 1 earnings with allowances and potential incentives/overtime, plus a company van, uniform, boots and tools, 23 days’ holiday, pension and wellbeing

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in a workshop or mobile mechanic environment.
• Full UK Category B driving licence (maximum 6 points).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.

This is the job

As a Mobile Mechanic, you'll be the friendly face delivering first-class service and repair work at our customers' homes or workplaces.

You'll attend a mix of booked appointments and breakdowns, carrying out inspections, diagnostics, servicing, brake replacement and on-the-spot repairs, helping to keep our customers moving safely and confidently.

With full training and ongoing support, you'll have everything you need to succeed in a varied, independent and rewarding role.
