Job description

Join us as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic at Direct Line Group

We are seeking dedicated Mobile Vehicle Mechanics to join our team across various locations including Pinner, Ruislip, Uxbridge, and more. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a flexible 40-hour workweek, with shifts between 7am and 8pm, Monday to Sunday, and optional overtime.

As part of Green Flag, you'll be the first responder to roadside breakdowns, helping customers get back on the road quickly and safely. You'll work with a company-provided vehicle, starting your day from home, diagnosing and repairing issues such as fuel problems, tire changes, or battery replacements, using your technical expertise and a fully stocked onboard kit.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and perform vehicle repairs
• Diagnose vehicle issues accurately
• Provide excellent customer service and reassurance
• Utilize up-to-date repair techniques and adhere to health & safety standards

Requirements

• Current Category B driving license
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance (preferred)
• Experience in motor repair industry
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate empathy

Compensation & Benefits

• Up to £40,000 base salary, with OTE of £44,000-£48,000
• Employer-contributed pension at 9%
