Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Technician in Oldbury (West Midlands) to bring our service to customers’ driveways. The role offers a base salary plus on-target earnings, a 44-hour week, and a pattern that includes weekends.

You will collect a fully equipped van, follow smart routing, and perform repairs and services on customers’ vehicles. Training is provided to cover skill gaps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points

• A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of 3,800 Per year
• Comprising a base salary of £29,995 - £31,025
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday including every other weekend 8:00 - 20:00

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
