Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Technician for our Southall Hub to bring expert car care directly to customers' driveways. You will work a 44-hour week with a base salary of £32,009 and a potential total up to £34,609, plus a monthly bonus scheme that averages £2,600 per year.

You'll diagnose and repair a range of vehicle systems, using a fully equipped van and guided routes via smart technology. A full training program will help you cover any gaps in your skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points

• On-target earnings up to £34,609
• A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £2,600 Per year
• Comprising a base salary of £32,009
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday 8:00 - 20:00 with every other weekend included (5-day pattern may also be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
