Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Mobile Technician for the Southall Hub to bring servicing directly to customers' driveways. The role includes a base salary of £32,009 with on-target earnings up to £34,609 and a monthly bonus averaging £2,600 per year.

The position runs a 44-hour week with a flexible pattern, including weekends, and full training is provided to fill any skill gaps. As a Mobile Technician you will perform battery replacements, windscreen repairs, and oil & filter changes, using a guided

• Comprising a base salary of £32,009
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday 8:00 - 20:00 with every other weekend included (5-day pattern may also be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes

Skills and experience

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
