Job summary

Halfords in Greenford is hiring a Mobile Technician to bring expert car services directly to customers’ driveways. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll follow smart routing to perform a wide range of repairs and services for customers, keeping them moving.

The role involves a 44-hour week with shifts Mon–Sun, including every other weekend, and offers strong earning potential with base pay plus on-target earnings and a monthly bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in vehicle repair work is desirable.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role will suit those with a real passion for all things cars & motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

• On-target earnings up to £34,609
• A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £2,600 Per year
• Comprising a base salary of £32,009
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday including every other weekend 8:00 - 20:00 (5-day pattern may also be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
