Job summary

Halfords Mobile Expert in West Midlands is looking for a Mobile Technician to visit customers’ driveways, carrying out repairs and services with a fully equipped van. You’ll diagnose issues, work independently and deliver excellent customer service in a mobile environment.

We offer a 44-hour week, base salary of £29,995–£31,025, and on-target earnings up to £34,825 plus a yearly bonus averaging £3,800. Full training is provided and a comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Tyre Fitter or in vehicle repair is desirable.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• A real passion for all things cars & motoring.

• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday including every weekend 8:00 - 20:00

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day-to-day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
