Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Mobile Technician in Warrington to bring automotive expertise directly to customers’ driveways. You will collect your van, follow smart routing guides, and perform a range of repairs and services with full training provided for any gaps in your skill set.

The role offers a base salary around £30,052 with on-target earnings up to £34,052 and an average annual bonus of about £4,000, plus benefits. A 44-hour week with occasional weekend shifts is included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in vehicle repair work is highly desirable.
• Ability to problem-solve and work on own initiative.
• This role suits someone with real passion for cars and motoring.
• A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of repairs and services for customers.
• Battery replacement, windscreens repairs, and oil & filter changes.
• Carry out tasks after collecting equipped van and following smart routing guidance.

• On-target earnings up to £34,052
• A monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4000 Per year
• Comprising a base salary of £30,052
• 44 hour week
• Shift pattern between Monday - Sunday 8:00 - 20:00 with every other weekend included (5-day pattern may also be available)

As a Mobile Technician, you’ll use your technical knowledge, problem‑solving ability and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, you’ll be guided through your route by our smart technology, carrying out a wide range of repairs and services for our customers.

With full training provided for any gaps in your skill set, you can expect to carry out the following work, day‑to‑day:

• Battery replacement
• Windscreen repairs
• Oil & filter changes
