Job summary

City West Country is seeking a Mobile Technician (Van) in Exeter with travel across the South West. The role involves on-site and mobile service and repair work in our Mercedes-Benz Exeter Aftersales Department, full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will perform maintenance and diagnostics to Mercedes-Benz standards, provide comprehensive repair work, and ensure proper documentation for invoicing. A valid UK driving licence and van-specific experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in the motor industry, preferably with vans.
• Certified technician qualifications: Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance.
• Strong team player with good attention to detail.
• Openness to learning and development within the service industry.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and mobile service for customer vehicles.
• Perform all maintenance services per Mercedes-Benz standards.
• Complete diagnostics and repair using workshop information systems.
• Carry out final inspections and function tests on complex repairs.
• Prepare final documentation for invoicing.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Technician, you'll provide on-site and mobile service and remedial work support for Customer vehicles and equipment.

Your duties will include

• Perform all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes
• Complete a comprehensive diagnosis and repair job sheet
• Carry out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions
• Carry out a final inspection and function tests on all complex repair work
• Complete final documentation for invoicing

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn. You will:

• Have previous experience within the Motor industry, preferably experience with Vans
• Have Certified technician qualifications (Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance)
• Be a strong team player with great attention to detail
• Have an openness to learning and developing within the service industry
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
